About this Event

As some of you already know Cruz 101 will be hosting the Manchester Gay Village Student Welcome Event on Friday October 11th from 8pm until approximately 10pm. This is an event that will be a great opportunity for LGBT societies from not just Manchester but from across the North West to meet each other and to meet the various businesses and organisations that offer services within the Gay Village. Complimentary shots on arrival will help to get the evening off to a great start and the bars will be open while you have a chance to mingle. Following the event you will have the opportunity to go and explore the Gay Village, experience some great offers from the bars and use your Cruz wristband to back in the club later on in the evening for free. This band also gets you free admission the following night (Saturday).

This new event will be a great opportunity to meet teams from venues who operate around Manchester’s famous Gay Village including, Poptastic, Vanilla, Baa Bar, View,to name but a few, plus LGBT organisations like the LGF and Albert Kennedy Trust and of course fellow students from lots of different universities from around the North West.

There will be lots of offers on the night for you to take away and Cruz has put together a student package for you to take advantage of this year that consists of :

• Free membership (normally £10)

• Free admission on a Sunday and Monday nights

• 10% off all drinks on Wednesdays

• £2 admission on Fridays (normally £6)

• £3 admission on Saturdays before 1am (normally £8)
